the whiskey, the karma and the empty vessel - 2

If anything which is not anyway relevant to the previous post is called a sequel, then this post is a sequel to my previous post called ‘you know’. By the way 'you know' is not the post's name, my dear reader.  I have followed the standard convention for naming the sequel. To see my previous post click here.

At this moment you might think of stop scrolling down this post.

Don't do that. Be wise than a miser!

the whiskey, the karma and the empty vessel - 2

(Rerouting to the past, through the eyes of Srishti)

Continuing from the last line...

What is Karma, the k thing?

Its very simple. When you substitute a mice in testing a fertility drug, and unfortunately it turns you impotent. Now you are in a no position to produce your offspring.. Here, you can neither sue the scientist nor your fate.

You become helpless, vexed and depressed without venting out the rot feelings. To help humans with this kind of difficult situation where no one could be blamed, some impressive forefather of us created a mystic yet believable thing and named it as ‘karma’.

Assuming Darwin's hypothesis true, if you date back on the scale of evolution, its logical that at some point Apes, Ape man and Homosapien(man)- all three of them -coexisted. How would be man who freshly baked from the ape factory by the time machine be? .Undoubtedly wild. Our fore fathers ran everywhere in bewilderment discovering a new feeling because of their improved sixth sense!

When this process continued for sometime, there evolved a pact of uncouth, wild people whom today's science call 'early man'. He discovered fire and mend it for cooking. He churned soils for food. Turned stones to weapon, leaves to cloth and more and more as his intellect began to develop; however, to the glory of the nature, this rate of enlightenment wasn't uniform among the people. Even now days not everyone of us are Einsteins, Armstrongs and Kalams at the early part of our life. So, there were frequent clashes among the tribes, adding to the furry were forest fires, dinassorus and plagues. Thus began, the survival of the fittest-  a fight for existence.

There lived some one, who was intelligent to interpret the pattern of time and signs of evolution. From  now on ,we call him, Srishti. To save his fellow men from killing each other, Srishti needed supremacy over them. But that wasn't an easy job for him. Its hard to gather power over a race, which lived wild for generations. .

One day, he was observing silence over bark of a tree. Suddenly, from his behind he heard a screeching noise. His heartbeat stopped for a while and for the first time he felt a whole of adrenaline rush in his body. It increased heart rate and sweated profusely.

It was totally a strange feeling for Srishti to decipher.  Slowly, he turned around to see the cause for this feeling. It was a small squirrel trying to break a nut. He sighed and laughed hardly. However, this was the first time he had encountered this feeling, which he wasn't able to name or describe it until that day came.

Srishti who loved peace always enjoyed the serenity of the nature. His favorite spot is where the lake Manasarovar springs out today. He used to sit on a particular place regularly and witness the events. It was an extension of territorial plane above the water. He comes there and rests himself by sitting on it; hung his legs freely tracing the stream.

There he would patiently look at every little thing around him.

For sometime he would glance at the vast expanse of sky and admire the beauty of stars. And for other time he would simply look down the lake in hope of discovering something. One day he found, some jelly like creature inside a shell, he named it snail. And he found fish one day, and then birds next day; this continued on and on.

Soon Srishti learned to see the abstract patterns and able to connect them in logical way.

He questioned why birds flocking together in particular fashion that day was different from other day. He even noticed the shoaling of fishes were not always the same, it migrated regularly.

He realized a fire ball on the sky raise from the east and sets in the west. During that transition he found light evolving from dark in day was again swallowed by the dark itself in night.

He found the nights of summer are lengthier than the nights of winter.

He thought there should be a basic line of reasons behind every pattern..

This differentiated Srishti from others.  What he saw was an entirely new world from the rest of his mates. His born inquisitive attitude unveiled the curtains to knowledge. He was pampered at the school of nature. He enjoyed everything than mercurial nature of his fellow beings. Srishti was a lover of peace and happiness..

One winter evening, he strode along the side of Manasarovar. The climate was nerve breaking chill and he enjoyed it. All of a sudden the tranquility of the place was disturbed by an ear jarring noise.

At a distance away from him, was everyone running in unison. Srishti was surprised as that was the first time he found his fellows united.

He  noticed everyone's face. It was glistening with pellets of sweat. All of them exhibited the same kind of expression which Srishti impulsively related  to the feeling which he had once he was shocked by the nut breaking squirrel.

The commotion was created by a herd of elephants. It was chasing Srishti's tribe with a great furry.

He wanted his tribe to be saved, but how?

Within no time, tearing the ears was the sound that was no match for the sound of shuddering thunder.

Someone rolled stones from the top of the hill.

Elephants panicked, they dispersed in all direction with a greater speed than his men before.

He clearly observed the pattern, it said him something about the behavior of living things.Something which would be upturning the future of all living beings, something which his later generation would be breaking their heads on.

And he found  the power to control the human race and which would change their way of living.

Want to know how fear helped Srishti in gaining dominance over humans?

wait for the next post.

Srishti’s journey will be continued…

PS:

I will be soon enlightening you with the ideology of God and Karma in my next post.

PPS:

Waiting is the virtue of noble mind.

At last...

"The waiting for this year is over... "

These are not just words or a catch from a Christopher Nolan's movie.

Yet these are the magical words said by the greatest controller of all examinations of  Anna University.

Amid the air of gawking strangeness, for the first time in the last four years Anna University Chennai declared its results before some minutes to mid night.

On one blue moon night, he stretched his arm  towards the masses and said, "YO BOYS!..", before he could say ," The waiting for this year is over..", people started throwing stones at him and some other ran to their computer. Because they all knew, the announcement would be none other than declaration of results.

At last the controller he himself has found the auspicious date to release the exam results.

I don't bother about the freaking situation that was prevailing in the University's premises, and so does the rest of the students.

It took a nearly four month for this greatest university of (South) India to set its results out. There are many reason why the results were so painfully delayed, but the popular reason which has gone viral in facebook is some intelligent guy had tactfully hacked its server and hooked the question paper; published in the Facebook. Eventually this led to the total chaos,re-exam and hence the freaking delay

Now, me pistaboy is graduate Professional Engineer who still misses his college life, funny friends, boring class room and all good among the worst things. That's the reason he was so pissed to write a blog post.
